Andrea is a successful entrepreneur who has bootstrapped two companies to profitability in the last 6 years. Her expertise is in creating large networks of professionals and working in the fast-paced, high-energy world of start-up business enterprises.
Founder of the sole-proprietorship, Mudd Piano Studios, in 1997 she grew the company from personal investment to profitability in a matter of months growing to 30 students through marketing and referrals. The Studio is still operational and profitable after 6 years.
In 1999, Ms. Mudd founded Getamom.com, Inc. a non-traditional recruiting and staffing firm focused on serving working parents and family-friendly corporations. As founder/CEO of Getamom.com, Inc. Andrea also served as the lead consultant on various engagements in the last 12 months.
Most recently, Andrea served as interim Director of Business Operations for a start-up consulting firm creating processes, procedures and developing a nationwide network of senior level executives. Andrea brings the strength of managing large groups of employees and independent contractors and projects to Security Threat Films, LLC.
Ms. Mudd was a semi-finalist in the Springboard 2000 Venture Capital competition for female entrepreneurs and was the 2003 Rising Star, Woman of Excellence for the National Association of Female Executives. She holds a BA in English from the University of Wyoming.
